I don’t want to delete Peter from v1.2 or Pumpkin from v1.8 (if I try that version again) in case their existence is necessary for some reason.Īlso, is deletion of a NPC just a matter of deleting the record in the Non Player Actor category in FO4Edit? There’s a few other records for the NPCs, but I’m thinking that deleting them from that category is enough. With v1.8, it sounds like Pumpkin is at the house just down the road from Drumlin Diner and near those traincars where there’s a checkpoint after the main quest. I know random encounters stopped happening there in my last game but I can’t remember if that coincided with the installation of v1.2 of this mod. I’m a bit more fuzzy about the spot where Pete is. I recall running into Super Mutants, Synths and Dreth (Gunner trader) at that spot, probably others too, but once Masie was there no vanilla NPCs ever showed up again. I noticed with TfTC that, when Masie relocated to the campsite, that was the end of any vanilla NPCs ever showing up there. I’m a bit concerned that NPCs like Pete and Pumpkin are located where random encounters happen and will stop encounters at those locations.

I tried v1.8 for only a little bit, but reverted to v1.2 because I kinda missed the constant chatter that’s cut a bit too far down (for my tastes) in v1.8.Īnyways, I have 1 concern and 1 question.

My faves are Seven, Faye, Zhane and Clayton ‘cuz they’re so hilarious, but all the characters I tried (14 of ’em) are pretty great. I used the earlier versions in my last game and was amazed at the life the settlers brought to my home base at Sanctuary.
